Broadster – series production switchers due to the modular structure allow user to create any optional configuration of switcher with up to 48 inputs and up to 4 M/E from available modules.
All Broadster Control Panels are compatible with all Broadster Main Units.
GVM-3630/3230/2430 – is powerful, intelligently completed, 3 ME production switcher with up to 48 HD/SD-SDI inputs and up to 24 HD/SD-SDI outputs. Upgradable to 4K and HDR. With this much production capability, switcher is indented for use in big live broadcasting studios.
This production switcher is very easy to use. Carefully designed Menu interface and lots of buttons of fast access solve any important functional task in few clicks. Control Panel is equipped with displays for source mnemonic and well illuminated RGB buttons. Also along to internal 7' display there can be connected various types of external displays with touchscreen for advanced menu control.
Production switcher Broadster GVM-3630/3230/2430 consists of two parts Main Unit and Control Panel:
- GVM-2400H Main Unit with ability to install up to 36 HD/SD-SDI inputs /18 HD/SD-SDI outputs.
- GVM-4800H Main Unit with ability to install up to 48 HD/SD-SDI inputs /24 HD/SD-SDI outputs. This Main Unit is hardware upgradable to 12G-SDI and IP/SDI standarts.
- GVM-3630c Control Panel with 48 direct access buttons and 3 M/E
- GVM-3230c Control Panel with 38 direct access buttons and 3 M/E
- GVM-2430c Control Panel with 28 direct access buttons and 3 M/E
Switcher can be easy integration in systems with various formats of input and output signals. Each input is equipped with Frame Synnchronizer and Format Converter. All outputs are also multi-format and are equipped with Format Converters.
GVM-3630/3230/2430 provides wide opportunities for keying with 12 Full-featured Keyers each with 2D resizer, and 4 DSK each with Chroma Key. Ability to display on KEY up to 5 x 2.5D-DVE channels. User is also provided with convenience KEY settings: matching keying background to the fill source, one press button for last key settings recall, ability copy KEY settings. Also all switchers are equipped with complex matte generator with different effects. Along with standart transitions there can be used two channels of 3D DVE effects assignable to any ME for transitions.
Built in 5 Channels of 2.5D-DVE for PiP box and Keyers with simultaneous distribution of 2.5D / DVE resources to KEY and the "Picture in Picture” function is a powerful tool for production.
Enhanced integrated 3 channel Multiviewer solution with additional up to 9 Quad Split outputs (mini multiviwers) and built in wave form scope will be great help while keeping track of all signal sources production switcher operates with. In addition Switchers Control panels menu provides power supply status indication, monitoring and display of Availability and Format of signals for each of Inputs.
GVM-3630/3230/2430 has 5 x Channel of Internal Media storage with Sound for Clip Storage, Media transition(Super Wipe) Storage and Animated Logogenerator. Total duration of each channel is up to 5 Minute in HD resolutions.
Extended User Memos system allows to memorizes up to 1000 states of switcher setting separately for Multiviewer, Audio, AUX, DSK, ME buses and assign 10 of them on hot recall buttons.
All Broadster series switchers allows to create editable User Macroses, that can be played in automatic or step by step mode. Moreover through macros can be provided control via GPI.
Robotic Camera Control provides possibility to control the broadcasting process independently, by changing studio cameras position in certain range.
Switchers enable integrated control over various external devices like VTR, TSL, Servers, Routing Systems Control using various protocols like Sony, GVG-100, VDCP, GPI Protocols. Integration with broadcast automatisation systems such as Cinegy, Playbox.
Since Broadster is a solution, corresponding to the broadcast market, first of all, Guramex took care of that it would operate stably without interruptions with redundant power supply provided both in Control Panel and Main Unit. Equipped with parts of the leading producers Broadster will operate 24/7 during many years.

Inputs/Outputs
GVM-3630/3230/2430 is featured with up to 48 HD/SD-SDI inputs with autodetectionframe synchronizer. Modular architecture allows changing configuration according user priorities - one can choose 12/16/20/24/32/36/40/44/48 input assembling for GVM-4800H. Dedicated Quad Splits output is represented on each input module. Along with that, GVM-4800H has up 24 free assignable HD/SD-SDI outputs. GVM-4800H is hardware upgradeble to 12G-SDI and IP. Instead of standart HD/SD-SDI input/ outpur cards there can be installed 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI Input Cards, IP/SDI Input Cards, 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI Output Cards, IP/SDI Output Cards
Auto Detection
Each input of GVM-4800H automatically indentifies the type of signal its dealing with HD or SD-SDI without any additional settings or equipment.
Frame Synchronizers
Production switcher is equipped with frame synchronizers at all inputs that allows mixing of any non-synchronous signals smoothly without interruptions, without use of additional external synchronization.
Internal / External synchronization mode
Production switcher can operate in both external/internal synchronization mode. In external synchronization mode the generator is carried out from the input reference signal .

GVM-3630/3230/2430 provides wide range of keying:

2.5 D-DVE/ Picture-in-Picture
Create combined image with up to 5 scaled pictures and background with possibility of Dynamic Transition of combined images.

The pictures can be moved, resized, repositioned, cropped and given colored border. Also can be changed pictures overlay order.
The flexibility of implementation makes the PIP function a powerful tool for production. 5 x 2.5D / DVE windows + background can be used as an additional source, without occupying keying channels.
Up to 10 state of PiP function can be saved and delegated to buttons of “One Touch Section”. Single push of button provides transition between PIP states with defined duration.
Yet, in case of need, there is simultaneous distribution of 2.5D / DVE resources to KEY and the "Picture in Picture” function

Switcher is equipped with two channel of 3D DVE effects assignable to any M/E for transitions. Along with standard cut, mix and wipe transitions, there can be used 3D effects like page turner.
Animated logotype Generator
Isolated, independent channel for displaying Animated Logotype. Supports most popular - AVI video format. Simply upload the picture and drag it into right place on the screen.
Internal Video Clip Storage
An internal dual channel independent storage for clips and slides. Up to 96 clips and slides with total duration of 5 minutes can be stored up to each channel, and can be used as TV caption or background.
Super Wipe
You can enjoy with your own designed transitions combined with graphic and audio.
Great opportunity to use customized, great looking TV band with the use of SuperWipe function! Create your own creative graphic transitions with audio and store it in to the switchers internal SuperWipe channel.
Up to 96 graphic transitions can be loaded, total duration of which should not exceed 5 min.
Multi-Viewer and Quad Spilt outputs
Fully integrated, internal solution for the multi-screen image is at your service. Switcher has 4 outputs intended for Multi-Viewer, which allows you to display up to 16 video streams on a single screen in different modes.
The output signal has a resolution of 1920x1080 and is displayed via DVI/HDMI and HD-SDI outputs.
Each video stream has its own audiometer, UMD and plenty of other markers.
The source can be any external video signal, as well as master-channel, or any other internally formed signal.

Dedicated Quad Split (QS) output is represented on each input module. All 4 inputs can be displayed on a single screen with UMD and Tally indication.

Due to built in waveform scope there is an opportunity to display parameters of any video signal source.
Inputs Redirection
Set the input signal you need on the input button you desire without physical rearrangement of cables. If you will need to redirect outputs, you will be able to do it right on the console.
User Memos (Event Memory)
Created to allow each user to save his frequently used switcher configuration, Event Memory memorizes up to 1000 states, 10 of which can be assigned to hot recall buttons in “User Memos Section”. In addition, there is ability to save separately setting for: Multiviewer, Audio, AUX, DSK, ME buses.

Audio Control for Inputs
Up to eight channels of audio may be extracted from each input HD/SD-SDI video signal.
For each input you can easily :
- select audio couple which will be used for further processing inside switcher.
- adjust audio level.

Two audio buses are formed inside switcher and can be freely assigned to AUX outputs with audio level control.
Production switcher has Analog ( balanced stereo), digital (AES –EBU) and 2 x SDI outputs for audio tracking of graphic transitions ( SuperWipe). Can be assigned for different purposes.
Macros Function
Allows to create editable user macros. Macro is a sequence of states and transitions that can be played automatically or step by step mode. Moreover through macros can be provided control via GPI.
Robotic Camera Control
Robotic Camera Control provides possibility to control the broadcasting process independently, by changing studio cameras position in certain range.
Cameras are simply controlled and adjusted by joystick. Zooming is also provided.
Any adjustment can be stored in Broadster's memory and easily recalled by pushing single button.

Redundant Power Supplay
Production switcher is provided with redundant power supplies hot-swappable/hot-pluggable for both control panel and main unit. Power supply status is displayed on the control panel display.

Main Unit GVM-4800H allows to choose the configuration (number and type of production switchers input/output modules) that precisely suits customer needs without wasting money. Modular architecture with distributed processing is provided to guarantee survivability of the system.
All input modules are interchangeable with each other, the same is provided for the output modules. Failure of any module only leads to loss of function or a certain lack of comfort. Damage of any input/output module will not cause the failure of the whole system.
